Fifth Annual Math League International Summer Tournament with lectures by mathematicians from Princeton University & Columbia University held at The College of New Jersey

The Fifth Annual Math League International Tournament will be held from July 24, 2016 through July 29, 2016 at The College of New Jersey.

 

We are now accepting applications from any 6th, 7th, or 8th grader who scored 31 points or higher on our annual contests for those grade levels. We will also accept applications from students in grades 6 through 9 who score 29 points or higher on our annual algebra contest or who have a cumulative total of 30 points or higher on our High School Contests after six contests. The fee for this tournament will be approximately $1800 per participant.

2015 Stony Brook-Math League Summer Tournament a.k.a. Second Annual Sino-American International Mathematics League Competition, 08/01/2015, Stony Brook University.

 

On August 1, 2015, 30 high school students from China with outstanding performance in Math League China Preliminary Contests and 25 students from US, participated in 2015 Stony Brook University - Math League Summer Tournament a.k.a. Second Annual Sino-American International Mathematics League Competition, at Stony Brook University.

 

Here are the award winners for the Second Annual Sino-American International Mathematics League Competition, organized by Stony Brook University and The Math League. 

 

 

Award winners for Grade 9 - 12:

Gold Medal: Yutian Hu (China)

Silver Medals: Siyi Ren (China), Anton Wu (US)

Bronze Medals: Qianjun Zhu (China), Ke Cao (China), Corey Emery (US) 

The Math League recently was mentioned in the New York Times Numberplay blog discussing the Gaokao (the Chinese "SAT on steroids") and the Stanford-Math League Competition!

Stanford University and The Math League, from August 11th to August 16th, hosted their 4th Annual Joint Math Competition. Students from all over the world joined us here in California to explore the Stanford University Campus, attend fascinating events and lectures, socialize with other students from around the world and competed to solve Math Questions in teams, relays, and individually.

Saturday, August 1, 2015 - State University of New York at Stony Brook

The Math League will hold its Second Annual Sino-American International Mathematics Competition at SUNY-Stony Brook. Students from North America and China will compete for individual honors. The event will begin in the morning with the competition held from 9 AM to 12 Noon. The competition will consist of 10 Individual questions and a 60-question, 45-minute speed round. This will be followed by lunch at the University, an awards ceremony, and a tour of the campus.
